We are innovators. We are particularly passionate about addressing the challenges of operating off-road machinery. First, it was the square-by-design fuel trailer. We had two goals back then - to travel faster and fuel faster. Then came diesel exhaust fluid and the challenge to keep it contaminant-free. We were first to develop closed systems for DEF handling in off-road environments.
We don't rest on past success. We are as determined as ever to find better ways to maintain machinery in the field.
We have an unrivaled attention to detail and a no-compromise approach to quality. You can be sure anything that bears the Thunder Creek name is tough enough to withstand heavy, off-road use for many years to come.
Take our diesel tanks as an example. We are the only manufacturer to use seven gauge steel, multiple full height baffles and double welded seams. We know this is the only way to build a trailer that will work as hard as you.
We believe in honesty and accountability. We believe in standing behind our craftsmanship.
When we first began building fuel trailers, we had an one year warranty on paper. In actuality, when someone called with an manufacturing issue, we just took care of it. We could have held up the warranty and turned them away, but that's not who we are. So a couple years back we rewrote the warranty to reflect what we were already doing in practice. Because it's the right thing to do.

Thunder Creek Equipment is proudly built by LDJ Manufacturing, Inc in Pella, Iowa.
LDJ Manufacturing was founded in the mid-1990's by Loren and Jean Van Wyk and their sons, Luke and Chad as a small fabrication business to supplement the family farm income.
In 2009, the Thunder Creek Equipment brand was born out of a desire to provide farmers with a safer and more efficient fuel transportation option. The company quickly built a reputation for exceptional quality and earned brand recognition in the agricultural market.
The Thunder Creek product line would soon grow to include daily fluid and preventative maintenance solutions for professionals in the agricultural and construction industries.
Today, LDJ Manufacturing is 100% employee-owned. The company continues to focus on fabricating high quality, innovative fluid service equipment to fuel those who feed and build the nation.
