We are innovators. We are particularly passionate about addressing the challenges of operating off-road machinery. First, it was the square-by-design fuel trailer. We had two goals back then - to travel faster and fuel faster. Then came diesel exhaust fluid and the challenge to keep it contaminant-free. We were first to develop closed systems for DEF handling in off-road environments.
We don't rest on past success. We are as determined as ever to find better ways to maintain machinery in the field.
We have an unrivaled attention to detail and a no-compromise approach to quality. You can be sure anything that bears the Thunder Creek name is tough enough to withstand heavy, off-road use for many years to come.
Take our diesel tanks as an example. We are the only manufacturer to use seven gauge steel, multiple full height baffles and double welded seams. We know this is the only way to build a trailer that will work as hard as you.
We believe in honesty and accountability. We believe in standing behind our craftsmanship.
When we first began building fuel trailers, we had an one year warranty on paper. In actuality, when someone called with an manufacturing issue, we just took care of it. We could have held up the warranty and turned them away, but that's not who we are. So a couple years back we rewrote the warranty to reflect what we were already doing in practice. Because it's the right thing to do.

Thunder Creek Fuel and Service Trailers and DEF Delivery Solutions are made by LDJ Manufacturing, Inc, a family-owned business located in Pella, Iowa.
LDJ Manufacturing started in the mid-1990's when Loren and Jean Van Wyk opened a small fabrication business to supplement the family's farming income. The business quickly became known for uncompromised quality in steel fabrication and turned into a full-time endeavor. As the President, Loren leads LDJ using his God-given talent for developing new solutions. Most days you'll find him in the factory figuring out yet another way Thunder Creek can help your operation become more productive. His wife, Jean, provides leadership and direction as the company's Vice President. Ownership extends to the next generation of the Van Wyk family. The eldest of Loren and Jean's five children, Luke and Chad, serve as the company's Sales Manager and Operations Manager, respectively.
"We are proud of the products we build," says Luke. “We are passionate about delivering innovative solutions to make your operation more efficient.”
"Our production staff is world class," Chad adds. "Located in America's heartland, we are an ASME certified tank manufacturer and our craftsmanship is second-to-none."
