Local Event Celebrates Agriculture and Manufacturing

Pella is a town in south central Iowa with a modest population (just over 10,000) and an uncommonly high concentration of entrepreneurs and world-class manufacturers (Vermeer, Lely, Pella Windows – just to name a few.)

And we’re blessed to call it home.

Each summer, local businesses and community partners come together on a Thursday evening for the city’s annual Ag In The City event. They close down the square. We all bring in equipment and goodies to give away. Kids climb on tractors, the city band plays, and we all beat the heat with some frozen treats. Here are a few pictures from this year’s event.
